Actor Kevin Bacon would love to appear in a Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and while it’s too soon to say if it will happen, the director of the film series, James Gunn, wants to work with him again.

Bacon told Esquire that he “would love” to have a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. “Listen, I love the idea. I would love to be part of that,” he said.

Bacon has worked with Gunn before, as he starred in Gunn’s 2010 film Super as the bad guy. Gunn has been a fan of Bacon’s for a long time. He met Bacon at a screening many years ago and remembers telling Bacon, “You’re my favorite actor.”

Gunn said he had a great time working with Bacon on Super and is excited to work with him again, though whether it’s for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 or something else remains to be seen.
